Mr. John H. Danner accomplished a dream in 1999, opening the John H. Danner Funeral Home. Having worked in the industry in his younger years, he had a passion for helping people in his community and opened up a business he truly enjoyed. His compassion transferred to his grandson, Shane J. Gladfelter, who took over the business after John’s  death in 2007. Today, the Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. continues Mr. Danner’s mission statement of helping to serve our community.
