Lugenia Ann (Atterberry) Kittrell, 75, was called home by the Lord on October 6, 2021.  Born on September 26, 1946 in York, Pa, she was the daughter of the late Charles Jennings and Pearl (Atterberry) Smallwood.

     Ann loved the Lord and her family. She was the last Matriarch of her family and was proud of keeping her family connected. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, having cookouts and baking. Ann was adventurous, loved the Lord and traveling was her passion with family and friends. Ann had a kind and caring heart and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

     Ann leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Joy Kittrell and Prudence Kittrell; two sisters, Helen West and Liz Jennings; a brother Joseph Atterberry; four grandchildren, Riel Towles, Adam Kittrell, Martel and wife Jatanya Kittrell and Kelli Link; six great grandchildren, Rae Yhona, Zyon, Zaire, Zayden, Trinity and Zoey; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Kittrell; a brother William Walker, and a sister Carolyn Sexton.

     A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 629 S Pershing Avenue, York, Pa.  A viewing will be held prior from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.  The Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc is entrusted with the arrangements.
