Charles "Skip" Edward Brown, Jr., 76, passed away July 2, 2025. He was the companion of the late Sandra Hawkins. Born in York, Pa on March 15, 1949, he was the son of the late Charles E. and Mary Brown Sr.

Charles proudly served our country in the United States Army Reserve.

Charles leaves to cherish his memory three grandchildren, Zhane' McMillion, Shaquay McMillion and Dajon Williams; siblings, Rodney Brown, Andy Brown, Larry Brown, Kimberly Brown and Kevin Brown; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by daughter, Renee McMillion; and siblings Avis Brown and Victor Brown.

A viewing will be held on July 16, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822 E. Market Street York, Pa. The service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Darnell Bowman officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.
