Darryl A. Banks, 56, entered into rest on June 24, 2022 at his home. He was the loving husband of Vivian (Kinard) Banks for 20 years.
Born on May 2, 1966 Darryl A. Banks in Philadelphia to the late Louise and Samuel T. Banks. Darryl was a certified electrican and worked numerous jobs all around York County.
In addition to his wife, Vivan, Darryl leaves to cherish his memory, children, Shyneika Coleman, Takeisha Fountain, Tyechia Robinson, Larrisha Fountain, and Roneisha Page; second father, Joseph Kennedy; siblings, Samuel Banks, Sandra Hayes, and Darlene Banks; brother-in-law, David Zeigler; in-laws, Tressa, Nezzy, Corby, Joe, Velvet, Laura, and Oshi; fourteen loving grandchildren; and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Keith Banks and mother-in-law, Vivian Mae Miller Kinard.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 3 p.m. at Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822 E. Market St, York. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.
