Glenda J. Kress Rohrbaugh, 62, passed away peacefully at her home June 15, 2024. Born on February 23, 1962, in Hanover, PA, she was the beloved daughter of Gladys Gerver and stepfather Jack Gerver.
 Glenda worked at Red Lobster for 26 years, where she served patrons with warmth and kindness. Additionally, she worked at Life's New Beginnings, where she provided care for people with special needs, showcasing her compassionate nature.
In her free time, Glenda pursued her love for her faith and was a long-time member of Salt and Life ladies ministries and a member of New life ministries church of God. She was also a Sunday School Teacher, sharing her knowledge and love of Jesus with others. Above all, Glenda wanted everyone to know who Jesus is, the same Jesus she knew and loved. Her faith was a guiding light in her life, and she wished to share that message with everyone.
Glenda leaves behind many to cherish her memory, her husband, Vance K. Rohrbaugh; her son Bradley Lynn Cook, of York, PA; stepsons, Jason Rohrbaugh, Shawn Rohrbaugh Sr.; sisters, Linda Hoffman of Thomasville, PA; Brenda Boone of Lake Havas City, Arizona; Luann Shutts (Kevin) of La Vernia, Texas; Phyllis Leary (Steve) of York, PA; Connie Fridinger (Jesse) of New York. She also leaves behind, brothers, Robert Kress (Sharon) of New Oxford, PA; Allen Kress (Colleen) of Spring Grove, PA; Charles Kress of York, PA; Paul Kress Sr. of York, PA; 5 grandchildren; 13 nieces and 12 nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings Cathy(Kress)Warfel (Fred) and Clae Kress (Jane Weaver). Glenda's life was enriched by the love and support of her large and loving family.
Glenda will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Her legacy of love, faith, and compassion will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. 
A viewing will be held June 20, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and the service will start at 12 p.m. at the Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to New life ministries church of God, 601 Wallace St York pa 17403, 717-843-6585. Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.
