Glenwood M. Leas, Jr., 81, passed away September 29, 2024. He was the husband of Rose M. Leas. Born on December 27, 1942 in York, Pa, he was the son of the late Glenwood M. and Esther Leas, Sr.
Glenwood was an avid Philadephia Phillies and Eagles fan. He enjoyed horse racing and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed.
Glenwood leaves to cherish his memory, in addition to his wife Rose, four children, Glen Leas III, Scott Leas, Jeff Leas and Todd Leas; three grandchildren, Taryn Manuel-Leas, Keri McDonald and Rebekah Leas; and sister, Sharon Fahs. Glenwood was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Leas and Dennis Leas.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.at Mount Rose Cemetery with Pastor Donald Belch officiating. Please meet inside the gates of the cemetery at 9:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Glenwood's memory to the American Heart Association, the Cancer Society or the Kidney Foundation.
