John Francis Porter, 74, of York, passed away August 22, 2025. He was the husband of the late Mary Porter. Born on September 10, 1950 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Ethel Porter.

John leaves to cherish his memory, daughter, Christina and husband Lee; son, Ron and fiance Ang, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

John enjoyed sitting outside, going to Ocean City and making recipes off the cooking channels. He also enjoyed fishing and family time. He was a faithful man and a Pastor who loved God and served him his entire life. John preached online all over the world and really enjoyed doing so.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, August 26, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. 822 East Market Street, York, PA 17403. The service will be held Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. followed by burial at Springvale Cemetery.
