Joseph F. Deacons, 58, passed away peacefully, January 1, 2025. Born June 6, 1966, in York PA, he was the son of the late Clarence Deacons and Linda Alloways Deacons.
Joseph was an entrepreneur and a salesman for many years. He had a passion for woodworking and working with his hands. He always enjoyed being in touch with nature, whether it was camping, fishing or hunting he loved doing it. Spending time with his family and friends was something he enjoyed doing the most.
Joseph leaves many to cherish his memory including his loving wife, Tia Deacons; his children, Lorraine Desenburg, Joseph F. Deacons Jr., Selina Deacons, James Deacons, Jordan McMillion, Pierre McMillion III; siblings, Sammuel Deacons and wife Terrie, Jacinto Deacons and wife Tammy Arnold, and Linda Frey and husband Jacob West; Brother and sister in laws, Mark Jackson Sr. and wife Crystal Sleeger, Earl(Fred) Sleeger, Juan Martinez Sr.; aunt and uncles, Stacey Terrell(Berry) and husband Chris Terrell (children Tabitha and Brett Lefever and their grandchildren Jerrell Figueroa, Justis Rupp, great-grandchildren, Rue and Killian) Patricia Tilford, Carolyn and Theodore Tilford and their son Thomas Tilford; nieces and nephews, Tashay Frey, Shaki Davis, Adrienne Davis, Chantea Frey, Darrell Frey, Aiden Deacon, Ishia Deacon, Jena Rhodes, Ronald Rhodes, Kimberly Miller, Dakota Deacon, Elmer Ortiz, Emalee Trago, Sierra Trago, Juan Martinez Jr. and Samantha Rohrbaugh and their children Kaylee, Jason, Shaylen, and Chris, Eden Martinez, Carmen Ortiz, Mark Jackson Jr. and son Dylan, Markel Jackson, Laquan Jackson, Thomas Jackson, Angel Jackson, Michael Scalici, Jayden Robinson, Gabriel Scalici, Breonna Sleeger, Skylar Sleeger, William Hardy, Logan Sleeger, William Hardy, Logan Sleeger, and Destiney Anderson. Joseph was preceeded in death by, Lorraine Martinez, Joeg Tilford, Wendy Sleeger.
A viewing will be held Monday, January 13, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. with the service starting at 5 p.m. at the Gladfelter Funeral Home Inc. 822 East Market Street, York, PA 17403.
