Juanita Sue Hare, 81, of York, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2026 at Rest Haven York. Sue was born in York, PA on October 4, 1944. She was the daughter of the late Denton Clair and Kathryn (Randall)
Wright.

Sue graduated from Northeastern High School and retired 23 years ago from Berg/DuPont/FCI. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Sue enjoyed our family football trips to Tampa to cheer on the Buccaneers. She loved watching her grandsons race and play baseball.

Sue is survived by her son, Craig Hare (wife Amy) and grandson, Noah.

Daughter, Kris Mackison (husband John) grandson, John Hunter Mackison (wife Aryn) and great grandchildren, Josie, Jax and Jayce. Grandson, Jordan Mackison (wife Angela) and great grandson, Dawson, on the way who she was so looking forward to meeting.

Sue is also survived by her sisters, Brenda Markley and Kathy Wright.

The family would like to thank the staff at Rest Haven for their compassionate care of Sue.

At Sue's request there will be no service.
