Mary Elaine Hoskin, 81, passed away peacefully August 5, 2025. She was the loving wife to Donald E. Hoskin. Born August 11, 1943, she was the daughter of the late George Markle Sr. and Mary (Roucher) Markle. 
 
Mary leaves many to cherish her memory, including her husband, Donald E. Hoskin; her children, Mary E. Rohrbaugh, David Hoskin, Crystal Bramble, April Kornegay, and Dawn Morgan; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Nancy Lily, and Joan Markle; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her 9 other siblings. 
 
An avid lover of games, Mary spent countless joyous hours playing Bingo, a pastime that allowed her to connect with friends and family in laughter and excitement. She found joy not only in the game itself but in the camaraderie that came with it. She was a vibrant member of various clubs, where she nurtured friendships and shared many heartfelt moments with those she cherished. Mary also loved to have a chance to show off her dance moves. 

Mary is survived by her beloved friends and the many lives she touched throughout her journey. As we gather to celebrate her life, let us remember her for her laughter, her unwavering kindness, and her commitment to making the world a better place. Her spirit will continue to dance in our hearts, reminding us to cherish every moment and to embrace life with the same enthusiasm that she did.
 
A viewing will be held Tuesday, August 12, 2025 from 12 noon - 2:00 p.m. at the Gladfelter Funeral Home, 822 East Market Street, York, PA 17403. The service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the Gladfelter Funeral Home.
