Mathias A. Mohr, 62, entered into rest on April 22, 2023, in Pittsburgh. He was the loving husband of Lutrica (Spangler) Mohr. Born on June 24, 1960 in Langen, Germany, he was the son of Gertrud (Michera) Layton and the late Willi Mohar. Mathias was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. In addition to his wife, Lutrica, and mom, Gertrud, Mathias leaves to cherish his memory, a daughter, Yvette Mohr; granddaughter, Sheena; sisters, Petra Cook and Claudia Semel; brother, Earl Layton, Jr.; step-sons, Jeremiah, Steven Jr., and Raymond Snyder; five grandchildren; and a host of family and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822 E. Market St, York. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family at Prospect Hill Cemetery.
