Paul M. Smith, 79, entered into rest on March 15, 2022 at his home. He was the loving husband Violet E. (Thomas) Smith whom he shared 55 years with.
Born on February 10, 1943 in York to the late Mary E. (Harris) and Sherman Smith. Paul retired from Caterpillar after 32 years.
In addition to his wife, Paul leaves to cherish his memory, daughter, Jacqueline G. (Thomas) Hopkins; grandson, Todd Twayne Thomas; sister, Nancy Brown; and a host of family and friends. In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Perry Harris; brother, Ronald Smith; aunt, Romaine Frazier; nieces, Tanya Smith and Lisa Smith.
Services will be held privately. Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.
