Richard M. "Richie" Stough, 86, passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 15, 2023.
Born on January 23, 1937 in York, he was the son of the late Ivan and Pauline (Mann) Stough. Richard worked as an equipment operator for many years and most recently with Trump Lawn and Land.
Richie was a member at the Hawks Club, Victory Club, Dallastown American Legion and Prince Athletic Association. He also enjoyed playing a round of golf in his free time. Richie was loved and adored by so many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Richard leaves to cherish his memory, daughters, Chris Collins and Melissa Weiman and fiancé, Eric Lopez; brothers, Fred Stough and wife,Tracey, Robert Stough and wife, Donna, Claire Stough and wife, Jewel and Leroy Stough; sisters, Virginia Miller and husband, Jr, Charmaine Taylor and husband, Frank and Pam Ferrell and husband, Rick; grandchildren, Nicholas Weiman and wife, Katie, Kelsey Collins and Kayla Kenley and husband Trevar; great-grandchildren, Noah and Natalie Weiman; many nieces and nephews; and a host of friends whom he considered to be family. He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings, George Stough, John Stough and Rita Rupert.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Bethany United Methodist Church, 121 W. Broadway, Red Lion Pa 17356. Pastor Mark Williams will be officiating. A visitation will be held prior to service from 9 a.m. to 10: 30 a.m. Burial will be held privately.
