Richard Mark "Wolfie" Wolfe, 69, passed away October 10, 2024 surrounded by his family. Born on April 13, 1955 in York, Pa, he was the son of the late Walter P. and Elzina (Smith) Wolfe.
Mark was a 1973 graduate of Kennard-Dale High School. He was a funny, caring and all around good man and friend. Mark was a great father and shared a special, close bond with his daughter, Kaitlyn. In the winter he enjoyed hanging out in the garage by the wood stove watching football and in the summer he was always by the pool getting tan. He was Lifetime member of the VFW Post #7046 and the American Legion Post #455, both in Stewartstown, PA. You could sometimes find him on the dance floor at the shrimp feeds. Mark was a simple man and enjoyed spending his time with his family and close friends. He is now rejoicing as he is rejoined with his son and beloved dog, Myah. He will be deeply missed.
Mark leaves to cherish his memory, daughter, Kaitlyn Wolfe of Felton, PA; three grandchildren, Hailey Wolfe of Brogue, PA; Rylee Wolfe and Ann-Marie Wolfe both of Altoona, Pa; sister, Beverly Wolfe Hudson of Virginia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Brandon Wolfe.
A Celebration of Life Service will be announced at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mark's honor to the American Cancer Society. Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc is entrusted with the arrangements.
