Roger E. Wagner, 87, passed away April 2, 2025. He was the husband of Hazel J. (Brenneman) Wagner. Born in York, PA on August 16, 1937, he was the son of the late Roy E. Wagner and Carleane (Earhart) Wagner Brothers.

Roger was the Owner, Operator of Auto body and Restoration shops since 1960. He expanded his business to Wagner's Body Shop and Used Cars in 1981. His business slogan was "We paint the smallest car to the largest truck". He enjoyed sharing his trade and training new employees. Roger was a part of the Street Rod community in York. He built and restored many street rods and was a member of the York Antique Car Club and NSRA.

Roger leaves to cherish his memory, in addition to his wife Hazel, daughter, Lori Clipp and husband Rob; son, Wade Wagner and wife Tina; son in law, Kent Gladfelter; grandchildren, Zach Gladfelter and wife Shawnee, Colin Gladfelter, Robbie Clipp, Abigail Clipp, Hunter Wagner, Noah Wagner, Julie Warren and Mike Wagner; great grandchildren, Kelsey Warren, Harrison Warren and Amelia Jacobs; brother, Rick Wagner. He was preceded in death by daughter, Wendy Gladfelter; Son, Roger Wagner II and sister, Shirley Whisler.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held April 18, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. A visitation will be held one hour prior from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery.
