Ronald E. Rentzel, 76, passed away peacefully at his home on March 28, 2024. Born on July 2, 1947, in Mount Wolf, PA. He was the son of the late Mary (Smyser) Rentzel and Allen Rentzel. Ron was a lab coordinator and physics instructor at York College. He was a member of the American Legion, the NRA and also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Ron loved spending his free time fishing and tinkering with his tools in his garage. He will be remembered as a character who was funny, giving and very intelligent.
Ron is survived by, his wife, Suzanne Rentzel; children, Amy Binns and husband Scott, Matthew Rentzel and wife Jenna, and Kristine Rentzel; siblings; Sandra Lutz and husband Nathan; grandchildren, Emma Rentzel, Jacob Rentzel, Margaret Binns, Seth Binns, and Stephen Binns.
A graveside service will be at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. Anyone attending please meet at the front entrance at 1:45 p.m.
