Ronald M. Eaton, 75, passed away peacefully at home June 10, 2026.
Born April 13, 1951 in Columbia, PA, he was the son of the late Robert
and Gladys Eaton. He was also preceded in death by brother Robert Eaton and longtime companion Robin Fitzkee.
Ronald leaves many behind to cherish his memory including his son, Robert Eaton and Step Daughter Nicole Colyer and husband Clint; his grandchildren, Mya and Max Colyer, Mitchell, Chloe, and Sophia Fitzkee; Siblings, Linda Lake and husband Dean, and Vickie Dettinger and husband Terry; and many nieces and nephews of the Lake family.
Ronald loved fishing/crabbing, watching NASCAR, and enjoyed eating crabs with family and friends. Ronald worked and retired from York County Prison. He was a dedicated member of the Collinsville Fish and Game, where he proudly ran the fishing derbies for many years. In his younger days, he also enjoyed hunting and golfing. More than anything, he cherished time spent with his grandchildren. Whether sharing stories, attending their activities, or simply enjoying their company.
A Celebration of Life will be held by the family on Thursday, June 18th, starting at 4pm at the Chanceford Township Building- 33 Muddy Creek Forks Rd Brogue.
