Sally A. (Harlacher) Myers, 74, entered into rest on February 6, 2023, in York. She was the loving wife of Donald D. Myers.
Born in York, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary (Leatherly) Harlacher and raised by, Jason and Mildred Burkhart. Sally worked for 30 years at McCrory Distribution Center doing clerical work. She later worked as a material processor for Assurant Solutions. Sally was the church council secretary at Zion Bible Church.
Sally’s proudest family moments were when her grandchildren visited her and when she watched her husband and grandchildren play sports. Sally loved her church family and was very active in the life of Zion Bible Church. Sally also enjoyed cooking, baking, and canning.
In addition to her husband, Donald, Sally leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Monica Gladfelter and husband Gregory and Tricia Hoke and husband Roy; sister, Rose Leas; grandchildren, Mariah Nagel and husband, Curtis, Carter Gladfelter, Gabrielle Smeltzer, Bridget Smeltzer, and Bryce Smeltzer; and a host of family and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Zion Bible Church, 1550 N. East St, York with Pastor Gary Pfleegor officiating. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Burial will take place immediately after the service at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers please consider making donations to Zion Bible Church and/or the American Cancer Society. Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.
