Stephanie Fay (Dickson) McCray, 54, entered into rest on June 11, 2022 in York. She was the loving wife of Andre McCray.
Born on October 30, 1967 in York to the late Hatie M. (Mosley) and Murrey Dickson.
Stephanie loved children. She also enjoyed cooking and collecting dolls of all kinds. Stephanie was known for her humor and her great style. Her love for people led to her carrer in the nursing field. Stephanie had a very strong personal realtionship with God.
She was a very loving sister and friend who will be missed deeply by all whom knew her. We love you Stephanie, you will always be in our hearts. Gone but never forgotten.
In addition to her husband, Andre, Stephanie leaves to cherish her memory, siblings, James Dickson and wife Carolyn, Angelina Dickson and fiance, Danny Vargas and Murrey O. Dickson and fiance, Sandra Miranda-Cuellar; godchildren, Terry, O'Shava, Peaches and Jermaine; step-brother, Eric Harris; nieces and nephews, Erica, Crissy, DeeDee, Little Joe, Justin, Aiyanna, Danna, Tawayne, Jerquan, Jeremiah, Alashia and Jazz; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Todd Dickson; maternal grandparents, Beatrice and James P. Mosley; paternal grandparents, Rebecca and Amos Dickson.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Jabez Ministries, 40 Jefferson Ave, York with Pastor Adrian Boxley officiating. A viewing will be held prior to teh service from 10 a.m to 11 a.m. Burial will take place immediately after the service at Mt. Rose Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations would be greatly appreciated to help defray the cost of the funeral. The family would like to extend a special thanks to all who have been there to help during this time.
