Sterling P. Kinard, 72, passed away unexpectedly September 2, 2026. He was the husband of Debbie A. Kinard. Born in York, PA on June 25, 1954, he was the son of the late Lester and Thelma Kinard.

Sterling was an active member of the Vikings. He dabbled in golf and enjoyed golf cart rides with his dog Crockett. Sterling loved dirt track racing and listening to music. He was set on not leaving 17315, the place he called home. He enjoyed his TV programs, Lifetime, Miami Vice and the Andy Griffith Show. Sterling was extremely proud of his children and grandchildren and all of their accomplishments.

Sterling had the pleasure of meeting a lot of wonderful people who became like family. He was a proud member of the Larry (Larry Bear), Curley and Moe (John Krall) gang. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

Sterling leaves to cherish his memory, children, Joe Kinard, Will Delp and his wife Lacey, Ben Delp and Autumn Weber and her husband Brad; grandchildren, Jimmy Kinard, Weston Delp, Lailyn Delp, Brady Delp and Cole Weber; sister, Deb Kinard Kearney and her husband Scott; little brother from another mother Tim Shaffer; The Rhomes; grand pets; and a host of extended family, Kinard Lounge.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Sterling's honor to EMMR, St. Jude's or to the SPCA.
