Wayne Dickson, 66, entered into rest on July 5, 2022 in Mechanicsburg. Born on December 20, 1955 in York to the late Rodella (Bryant) and Joseph Dickson.
Wayne enjoyed going hunting and fishing. He was a diehard Steelers fan. Wayne will be deeply missed by his friends and family.
He leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Davonte Dickson, Cortez Dickson, Dwayne Dickson, and Hassan Dickson; daughters, Sakiah Dickson, January Dickson, Solita Dickson, Yolanda Dickson, Chalea Dickson, and Catona Dickson; step-daughters, Lakeisha Jones and Shannon Leonard; fiance, Margaret Murray; brohters, Bruce Dickson and Willie Dickson; sisters, Sandra Murray and Rodella Dickson; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; fiance, Nelie Murray; daughter, Takiyah Santiago; sister, Tanyann Deshield; brother, Joseph Dickson, Jr.; and grandson, Shah Johnson.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 5 p.m. at Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822 E. Market St, York. Pastor Adrian Boxley will be officiating. A viewing will be held prior from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
