William W. Frey, 85, passed away peacefully January 7, 2026. Born February 15, 1940, in Red Lion, PA, he was the son of the late Dallas W. Frey and Dorothy Druck Marsteller. He was married to his loving wife Patricia A. Frey for 61 years.

Wiliam was a lifetime member of the Elks. His Masonic affiliations included Friendship Lodge #663 Free and Accepted Masons in Fawn Grove, Zembo Temple Shrine Club, and Harrisburg Consistory. He was President of Autokraft Box Corporation for many years before his retirement. He enjoyed auto racing, long-range shooting, being outdoors hunting, fishing, playing on his tractor and helping his friends and neighbors. He was a devoted Papaw who cherished every moment with his grandkids, whether it was camping, hunting, cheering them on at events or simply watching them grow.

William leaves many behind to cherish his memory, including his wife, Patricia A. Frey; his children, William R Frey (wife Debbie), Russell W Frey (wife Alissa), daughter-in-law Tara Frey; grandchildren, Brittnie Stokes (husband Jeff), Kourtney Frey (husband Collin Kelly), Miranda Snyder (husband Ty), Tanner Frey, Austin Frey; great-grandchildren, Winnie Stokes; step-granddaughters,Kristi and Mya; siblings, Brenda Joines, Dave Marsteller, Keith Marsteller, Kevin Marsteller, Joy Patterson, Kathy Frey-Kraft; additional family, brother-in-law Stewart, sister-in-law Robin, and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Ronald W. Frey, and his sisters in law Linda, Beverly and Andrea.

Burial will be private.
