Terry was a 1978 graduate of William Penn Sr. High School and loved music and dancing. He was a disk jockey at the former MaiKai Lounge throughout the 80’s.      Terry had two additional hobbies - Hot Rods and fishing. Being the mechanic he was, he had no problem with designing, building and working to make his cars the fastest in all of York. Being a licensed fisherman he explored York County and the surrounding areas and found fishing spots that he enjoyed to frequent often. He loved catching bass at Lake Redman.
Terry was the proud father of three children, Nateasha Harris, Terry R. Washington Jr. (Gina) and Oshava Washington, all of York, Pa. Being the family man he was, he wanted to make sure his children and grands, would be okay. He believed “if Dad and PopPop can’t fix it - nobody can. He reasoned, if I have to leave here, I’ll go where I will see them again and I will ask God to protect and guide them.
