Austin James Altland

Austin James Altland, 23, of York entered into Heaven on Thursday, December 13, 2018. Born on October 17, 1995 in York, he was the son of Michael and Lori (Fitzkee) Altland.  In his brief time here, Austin touched many lives and lived each day to the fullest.  He was an avid fisherman. He truly enjoyed life!  He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

 

In addition to his parents, Austin leaves to cherish his memory, siblings, Michael Morgan, Courtney Mace, Corey Fitzkee, Tabitha Altland Scully, Tamantha Altland, Tucker Altland, Jaidin Altland, Elizabeth Altland, Aubrey Altland; his Soulmate, Christie; best friends that were like siblings, Alex Rodriguez, Norman Smith and Tina McGurk; grandmothers, Joan Fitzkee and Mary Harris; an uncle, Bobby Fitzkee, Jr.; an aunt, Angie Fitzkee and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

 

A viewing will be on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 from 5:00- 6:00 p.m. at the Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822 East Market Street, York. The Celebration of Life Service begins at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Ronald Kopp officiating.
