Chad Michael Merrill

Chad Michael Merrill, of Windsor, passed away July 21, 2018. Born in York, Pa on March 30, 1993, he was the son of Pearl Wise and Richard Merrill.

Chad was a graduate of Eastern High School and worked as a mason. He loved basketball and making music. Chad had a great sense of humor and loved spending time with friends and family. He was a peace maker, always trying to bring people together. His greatest joy in life was his son, Layton. He couldn't have been more proud to be a father.

Chad leaves to cherish his memory his infant son, Layton Merrill; mother Pearl Wise and step-father, Randy Wise; father Richard Merrill; three brothers, Richard Merrill and wife Christine, Bobby Merrill and Randy Merrill; grandmother, Shirley Merrill; uncle Mike Merrill and wife Shirley; 3 nieces; 2 nephews; and a host of family and friends.

A viewing will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Valley View Alliance Church, 200 Alliance Avenue, Hellam, Pa. The service will begin at 4 p.m. with Pastor Dave Hildebrand officiating. The Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.
