Luther E. Dinges Jr.

Luther E. Dinges, Jr., 68, of York, entered into Heaven on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Rest Haven. He was the husband of the late Helen J. (Baker) Dinges who passed on June 29, 2018. Born on March 13, 1950 in Carlisle, Pa, he was the son of the late Dorothy (Stiegelman) and Luther E. Dinges, Sr.

He was previously employed by Keystone Weaving Mill. Mr. Dinges enjoyed shooting pool and was a collector of baseball cards and coins. He leaves to cherish his memory, a son, Ralph Dell, wife Linda; two daughters, Diana Platts, husband Wyatt, Kathy Barnett, husband George; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a step-mother, Trudy Dinges; a sister Doris Blosser, husband Robert and a Host of family. 

The viewing will be on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. -12 noon at the Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822 E. Market St., York, Pa. The service will begin at 12 noon with Pastor Doug Heininger officiating.Interment will be be in Mt. Rose Cemetery. Gladfelter Funeral Home,Inc. is entrusted with arrangements.
