Roy L. Byrd

Roy L. Byrd, 53, of Glen Rock, passed on Tuesday, June 26, 2018. He was the husband of Phyllis Marie (Bowman) Byrd. Born on July 13, 1964 in Bakersville, NC, he was the son of Wanda (Garland) and stepdad Clarence Tracey.

He was a "Man of all Trades". He will be deeply missed by his family. Roy leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, his parents; one daughter, Amanda Sweigart; step-daughter, Treasa Harding; a step-son, M.J. Byrd; two grandchildren, Jasmine Tracey, Hunter Harding; four siblings, Gina Baronner, Michael Byrd, Frank Byrd, and Trish Edwards. He was preceded by his father, Cecil Byrd.
