Richard J. Stoner, 80, passed away unexpectedly November 3, 2021.  He was the husband of the late Eleanor M. Stoner.  Born on December 11, 1940 in Mechanicsburg, Pa, he was the son of the late Victor and Sarah (Finkenbinder) Stoner.

     Richard enjoyed camping and traveled all over the country with his wife, Eleanor.  They especially loved Codorus State Park, where they served as Campground Hosts for 13 years.  He enjoyed playing Poker with his friends and wood working.  

     Richard leaves to cherish his memory, three daughters, Robin Stoner, Roxanne Onspaugh and Roseanne Wiker; stepson, James Taylor; four grandchildren, Alex Taylor, Kimberly Taylor, Brooke Onspaugh and Cameron Onspaugh; three great grandchildren, Luke, Olivia and Gabriel; and brother, Robert Stoner.

     A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.  Pastor Andy Phillips will be officiating.  Please meet inside the gates of the cemetery at 10:45 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project.  The Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.
