Toyer B. White

     Toyer B. White known to her family and friends as Bernadette, 55, was given her wings to return home to Heaven by the Lord's angels on Wednesday, February 5, 2020. Born on October 17, 1964, in Jersey City, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Bernice (Pinkney) and Elmore Roberson. She was a graduate of Jersey City Schools. Toyer served as a crossing guard for York City School District where she will be missed by students and faculty and a Primary Caretaker of her mother. Toyer attended Unity C.O.G.I.C. She loved to sing, tell jokes, and was the life of the party. 

     She leaves to cherish her memory, siblings, Bessie Sutherland and Melvin Roberson; a niece, Crystal Sutherland-Mitchell of Stuart, Florida; nephews, Neal Sutherland of Houston, Texas, Jason Roberson and Kareem Abrams and children of York; great-nephews, Ezekiel Perry (Sutherland) and Malachi Mitchell of Florida; great-nieces, Haile Marie Sutherland of Maplewood, NJ and Mia Mitchell of Stuart, Florida; close friends, Theresa Oliver, Ella Anderson, Christine of Jersey City and a host of cousins of Pinkney, Bowman, Mincey family and friends.
